Phoebe fell in love with yoga 11 years ago while working as an architect in London and has never been the same since! After a few years of regular asana practice, a yearning to deepen her understanding of yoga inevitably led her to India, where she has spent the ensuing years joyfully dedicating herself to exploration, study and practice of the Bhakti, Karma, Jnana and Raja Yogas.
In terms of Raja Yoga, Phoebe is privileged to have trained with excellent teachers from different lineages, including those of Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Sri BKS Iyengar, Sri TKV Desikachar and Swami Sivananda Saraswati, giving her a solid foundation in the predominant ‘styles’ of modern Raja Yoga practice as set forth by these Masters.
Having decided to become certified to teach asana in 2013, Phoebe completed her 200-hr training at Trimurti Yoga in India. Her intention is to serve others by sharing the pure joy, peace and bliss of yoga back in her native Kuwait.
Phoebe shares yoga from the heart and she sees every single class as an opportunity for growth, healing and a unique adventure into your own body, mind and spirit.
